The Happy Ever After Playlist is an absolute joy to read. The characters, Sloan and Jason, are loveable and deeply relatable. Their flirty banter and effortless chemistry is both natural and heartfelt. Conversations between the two of them strike a lovely balance between playful and vulnerable. All of this makes their connection feel earned rather than rushed. What stands out most is the personal journey Sloan goes on. I enjoyed reading as Sloan moves from a grief-stricken, depressed widow to someone who reclaims her life, voice, and sense of joy. These sections are beautifully written and emotionally grounded. The healing process is not neat or linear, which makes the story it feel honest and real.
